As we toast to Chocolate Week, we're melding two of our top passions: our Organic Espresso, brimming with cocoa undertones, and ethically-sourced, organic dark chocolate from Chocolatemakers. Indulge in our Organic Mocha Delight recipe and savor the seamless blend of these cherished flavors!
- 1 cup freshly brewed CRU coffee
- 1/2 cup organic milk (you can also use almond, oat, or soy milk)
- 30g fairtrade & organic chocolate
- 2 tbsp organic maple syrup or honey (adjust to taste)
- 1/4 tsp organic vanilla extract
- A pinch of sea salt
- Organic whipped cream (optional for topping)
- Organic dark chocolate shavings (for garnish)
Prepare Your Organic Coffee:
- Brew a strong cup of your favorite CRU coffee.
Mix the Mocha:
- In a saucepan, combine the organic milk, organic chocolate and organic maple syrup or honey.
- Heat the mixture on a medium flame while constantly whisking to ensure a smooth blend without any lumps. Continue until it's hot but not boiling.
- Once the cocoa mixture is ready, stir in the brewed coffee, organic vanilla extract, and a pinch of sea salt. Mix well.
- Pour the mixture into a mug, leaving some space on top if you want to add whipped cream.
- Top with organic whipped cream and sprinkle with organic dark chocolate shavings.
