Wimbledon is in full swing, so we’re serving up the perfect coffee to have alongside your strawberries and cream. So, ladies and gentlemen, we’d like to present CRU’s very own Game, Set, Matcchiato...

Ingredients
  • Tennis ball
  • Hacksaw (or any large, nasty blade will do)*
  • Professional espresso machine
  • Tennis Whites

*obviously, please do not try this at home.
Method

Froth milk and set aside on a nearby surface. Clay is preferable, but grass will do just fine. Pour 20ml of espresso into your halved tennis ball.

Gently pour in the milk - a good, steady backhand motion will make sure your latté art remains on (match) point.

And there you have it - serve in the morning, around tennishh
