About this coffee
To give this coffee an extra little kick in the tail, we’ve mixed together a fantastic Honduran Arabica with a South Indian Robusta; celebrating both continents whilst retaining the classic Italian recipe for espresso, which is 70% Arabica & 30% Robusta. This helps produce a rich, European espresso with all the range, versatility and diversify that the coffee world has to offer.
Coffee - A Global Phenomenon
Coffee is the second most traded resource on earth (after oil), and the stories of its global expansion and trade make for fascinating reading. India started growing coffee in the 1650s, when seven beans were smuggled into the country in a pilgrim's beard - whilst the French & British introduced coffee to the Americas in the early 18th Century, their colonial outposts the perfect place to grow this new (for them at least) beverage.
