    About this coffee

    These twice-baked biscotti (or 'cantuccini' as they're otherwise known) are a delicious Italian treat first created in the city of Prato by pastry chef Antonion Mattei. Oblong, dry, crunchy and sweet, they soak up whatever you dunk them in - and here at CRU they've quickly become our favourite afternoon treat. We know that if we were going to be proper about it then we should really be having them alongside a little glass of Vino Santo, but dipping these little guys into a nice cup of coffee has to be the next best thing, right?!

    A little slice of Tuscany...

    Run by Paul Rostand in the Dorset Downs, the Great British Biscotti Co. aims to bring a little slice of Tuscany to your coffee break.

    • Ingredients: Self Raising Flour (Wheat Flour, Calcium Carbonate, Iron, Niacin, Thiamin), Raising Agents (Disodium Diphosphate, Sodium Hydrogen Carbonate, Monocalcium Phosphate), Sugar, Free Range Eggs, Walnuts ( 11%), Salted Butter, Coffee Beans ( 3.5%), Chicory and Coffee Essence (Sugar, Water, Chicory Extract, Dried Coffee Extract).
