If one of them is cutting down on coffee, you’ll be delighted to discover that your daily caffeine fix could be really good for you! We're exploring the deliciously healthy side of your favourite cup of CRU this January and to begin we've put together this super simple recipe for a delicious coffee smoothie for you to enjoy.
1 frozen banana
8g chia seeds
125ml coconut water
1 tsp ground almonds
1 shot of espresso (We recommend using CRU Kafe Light Roast)
1. Peel some bananas (we recommend the overripe ones), wrap them in clingfilm and pop them into the freezer the night before.
2. Pop everything into a blender and blitz!
It really is that simple. This tasty, nutrient-packed smoothie is perfect for fitting into your busy morning routine and all without having to give up your beloved coffee!
