A simple and sweet way to change up your regular espresso, today we're looking at how you can make your own Café Bombon. Made popular in Spain and then spread throughout Europe, it is thought that this drink was actually adapted from an Asian coffee of similar components, the only difference being that instead of using espresso they prefer to use ground coffee.
We've chosen to put our own twist on this delicious coffee with the addition of cardamom for some extra spice. Read the recipe below for a step by step guide on making your own.
Ingredients2 single shots of espresso
- Pour the condensed milk into a sauce pan, add a crush cardamom pod and bring to a boil. Reduce in heat and simmer for 1 minute, strain set aside.

- Garnish with a few cardamom seeds.
