How do you take your coffee?
Double espresso or short black.
What time do you have your cup of coffee?
I always have the first one an hour after I wake up - first I drink a pint of water, then lemon and ginger tea and finally I put on the percolator for my first coffee.
What do you most enjoy about drinking coffee?
The process of making it at home, the places I go to drink it in London - discovering epic spaces and meeting other cool coffee curators.
Where's your favourite place to drink your cup of coffee?
Has to be a café called Mile27 on Warren Street.
What do you do when drinking your cup of coffee?
At home it's usually before a run. When I'm in central London I'll usually drink coffee during a meeting or during an admin session of mine - headphones plugged in and yearning to be productive whilst sinking a short black.
Do you have a coffee memory that stands out?
When the boys in Mile27 first served coffee on the day we opened. Second has to be when I moved to London and descended the steps of Attendant in Fitzrovia for the first time, the place was encapsulating, the coffee was flavoursome and the eats were mega.
If you had to pick one song that you associate with coffee, what would it be?
I like having Bombay Bicycle Club on in the background.
How does drinking coffee make you feel?
Sometimes energised - sometimes relaxed - sometimes excited during a conversation about a project I am working on - sometimes content when I brew a cup at home, away from London - sometimes impressed - sometimes disappointed but never regretful - I always feel fortunate that I am surrounded by so much coffee by living in London and I never go without it.
What does it make you think?
I think about coffee a lot - once it is down the hatch it makes me want to progress with whatever I'm doing at the time.
What’s your favourite time to enjoy a cup of coffee?
Morning is mega for me when I make a coffee at home before I run. However I do enjoy bringing friends and people I work with to places I love to drink coffee in London during the day, and enjoy a cup with them anytime.
